W artykule zawarto relację z wystawy TECHNE-ABID'99, która odbyła się w kwietniu br. w Muzeum Techniki PKiN w Warszawie. Na wystawie zaprezentowano najnowsze osiągnięcia techniczne, technologiczne i naukowo-badawcze dla potrzeb szkolnictwa i przemysłu. Wystawę uzupełniały referaty wygłaszane w sali kinowej muzeum, dotyczące przemian, zachodzących w zreformowanej oświacie.

This article contains informations about Exhibition TECHNE-ABID'99 in Warsaw in April of this year. National and foreign exhibitors showed in the Polish capital research and testing equipment, measuring apparatus, teaching aids, furniture and school equipment. Many goods showed at the Exhibition are result of the cooperation between producents (firms) from Poland and abroad. Many of them have confirmed their interest in the development of all forms cooperation in the fields of production of equipment for public and private education at the all levels and for higher schools, research institutes, and industrial laboratories.
