The Gulf war impacts on the natural terriestral environment

Abstrakty
The environmental damage resulting from Iraq invasion on Kuwait and subsequent war (1990-1991) has affected all ecosystems and human health in the region. The military troop movements, trenches, mine fields and hight level of oil contamination destroyed large areas of desert topsoil. Analysis of influence of war activities on natural environment shows, that destruction of oil shafts had the most serious consequences for natural terrestrial environment of region. In this article the proposal of scheme of interactions between military activities and its influences on natural terrestrial environment is presented.
