Abstrakty
The paper deals with single-phase work of an induction motor with the three-phase stator winding and the additional condenser. During work in such conditions the pulsating torques with large amplitudes can appear. The mechanical pulsations increase the level of vibration and noise. The original conception of optimization of the value of the condenser capacitance has been here discussed. On the one hand the capacitor ought to be chosen to ensure the maximum mechanical power, on the other hand the optimum decision must take into account also the pulsating torque reduction to fulfil modern requirements relating to environmental protection.
