Very important in river ecosystems consists, in ecological investigation, for hydrologic practice and environment protection is overgrowing intensivity determination. The community ranges, vertical and horizontal differentiation of plant species, plant coverage and riverbed shape have to be measured. The modern methods (GPS -RTK), being used in geodetic, would be very helpful. The code levellers or classical levellers should be used for cross-section datum's estimation. The software proposed by authors allows for all objects highness estimation in field conditions and actual levelling measure control. The LORNETA programme was made by A.Pachuta and prepared for OPL language for the field computer PSION ORGANISER LZ 64. This programme may be used for the interpretation of all the measurement being made by the GEOVIT field glasses.
