Abstrakty
The paper presents a concept of modeling and simulation of the external fixator - bone system. Apart from strictly mechanical models, one presents concepts and exemplary results of studying heuristic models of the bon e union processes. This paper presents selected issues involved with modeling and simulation of physical performance of a system: External Unilateral Mechatronic Orthopaedic Fixator-Bone \EUMOFB\ intended for treatment of shafts of long bones. The paper presents concept of modeling the bone union processes with application of techniques of neural networks and the theory of fuzzy logic. The works are verified clinically.
