Tematem niniejszej publikacji jest wykorzystanie wspomagania komputerowego do oceny kwalifikacji mechanika okrętowego do pełnienia wachty morskiej w siłowni współczesnego statku morskiego. W zaproponowanej metodzie oceny zastosowano standaryzację zalecanych wartości parametrów eksploatacyjnych siłowni oraz stanów poszczególnych zaworów, pomp i innych urządzeń. W artykule podano również propozycję klasyfikacji i wartościowania błędów obsługowych. Ponadto wymieniono także przykłady testów kompetencyjnych dla mechaników okrętowych. Metodykę te zaimplementowano i stosuje się w symulatorze siłowni okrętowej Virtual Engine Room 4.8 stworzonym przez autora.

This paper presents the Computer Aided Assessment (CAA) applied for the full mission engine room simulator developed by an author. The paper includes the classification of the engine room analogue and digital parameters. The operation error types and their weighting have been proposed as well. The different kinds of CAA tests have been described in detail. The example of the seventeen CAA static tests and their assessment criteria have been given as well.
