PL

W artykule omówiono goniometryczne metody pomiaru rozkładu promieniowania laserów półprzewodnikowych. Szczególny nacisk położono na problemy związane z pomiarem profili wiązek promieniowania laserów kaskadowych. Przedstawiono unikalny układ goniometryczny zaprojektowany w Instytucie Technologii Elektronowej przeznaczony do takich pomiarów. Omówiono budowę tego układu i jego parametry robocze. Przedstawiono możliwy zakres zastosowań tego układu w projektowaniu i diagnostyce laserów kaskadowych.

The paper concerns goniometric methods of measuring the field intensity distribution in the beams generated by semiconductor lasers. Special attention is paid to the problems of measuring the profiles of beams of quantum cascade lasers. Certain unique goniometric set-up (called also beam profiler) designed in Institute of Electron Technology is presented. Details of construction of the beam profiler are discussed and selected parameters of the set-up are described. The range of application of the set-up in investigation of quantum cascade lasers is briefly discussed.
