Abstrakty
This paper presents a new sequential amplitude comparator of two sinusoidal signals. It was designed for calibration circuit of phase shifters leading to better suppression of image component in the signal path of 2.4 GHz receiver. The experimentally obtained values of IRR above 45dB after calibration process indicate that image signal rejection is very good. It enables to conclude that the conception and design of amplitude comparator is suitable. The design was performed using SiGe 0,35nm BiCMOS process.
