Engineers who professionally deal with landslide issues face many difficulties such as stabilization of landslide, reconstruction of geotechnical facilities that were damaged as a result of a landslide, design and construction of new geotechnical facilities relating to landslide occurrences. A wide range of materials and technological solutions are at their disposal. The application of Maccaferri solutions for stabilisation of landslides may be seen advantageous in comparison to standard methods. It brings significant financial savings and have positive effect on carbon dioxide emission to the atmosphere through maximum use of natural and local materials.
