The author presents several most interesting projects of communication tunnels under development all around the world. Among many interesting investments, there is a construction of an underwater road tunnel in Limerick in Ireland. The length of the tunnel together with all the access roads is 9.8 km. The investment cost 605 million euro. Moreover, the article presents a project of constructing the longest road tunnel in India. The construction is planned to be at the level of 3053 - 3080 m above the sea level. The Rotang Tunnel, of 8.8 km length, will be the highest-situated road tunnel in the world of such a considerable length.
