Abstrakty
This paper presents analysis of dynamic properties of a quarter car model, based on abstract sky-hook and ground-hook dampers. The considered hybrid abstract model has been used in optimisation procedure for different variants of the performance index of the ride safety. Properties of the model with abstract dampers are compared with the reference model with a traditionally placed viscous element.
