Abstrakty
The multilobe journal bearings are characterized by higher friction losses than the cylindrical bearings. Among the static characteristics of journal bearing the friction losses are very important from the point of energy savings. This paper presents the results of theoretical investigation into the friction losses of pericycloid 3-lobe journal bearings operating with the laminar, adiabatic oil film.
