Abstrakty
The numerical simulations of a piezoelectric sensor applied to monitoring a beam dynamical behaviour is presented in this paper. A simply supported beam with the piezoelectric sensor is investigated using the FEM and the analytical calculations. The beam vibrations are forced by the supports movement. The vibration amplitude of a selected beam point and the voltage amplitude of piezoelectric sensor versus the excitation frequency are computed. The achieved results are similar and prove the applied FE model correctness.
