Concept of a mathematical model which can serve for tractor - potato planter combination traffic analysis is presented in the paper. It is a 2D, three-wheeled model. It is relatively uncomplicated owing to the applied simplification, but it makes traffic parameters dependent on the combination geometric and mass parameters as well as on tyre - soil interaction to a sufficient degree. The Simulink module of the Matlab environment is used for model implementation.
