Short outline of laser applications for the atmosphere investigation taken during last 30 years in the Institute of Geophysics Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw is given. Particular attension was paid to the contribution of the lidars constractions and their application for purpose of the study on spatio - temporal structures of the atmospherical aerosol.
