The paper deals with the design of fuel test bunker which allows to weight coal blend in the bunker. The paper presents the static calculation of desing fuel test bunker taking in consideration the load of building construction under the wind effect. We suggested the concrete provisions for security of the bunker stability. We designed the test bunker with circular section in the paper. After verification of different possibilities of bunker loading and scanner location we come to the conclusion, that three-points bunker location with side dripping will be suitable. We propose to place three stop-motions to avoide of the empty bunker under the influence of wind, which will operate only in the case of effort of bunker tilling. The coal weighting directly in the bunker enables to estimate coke grade and sinter for iron production. After the quality test it is possible to improve the quality of pig iron and to decrease of the power consumption by revision of the technology of combustion process.
