New liberalisation trends of Europe's power engineering, decisions of European committee, and also troubles in Republics SR's electroenergetics and heat management (what effected introduction new law No 70/98 about energetics), will demand new energetistic politics. On the other hand one should realize, that SR has strongly limited natural resources of energy, while import of petroleum and nuclear fuel from Russia is exclusively secured because of economic reasons. According to Ministry of Economy and government, nuclear energy will be further developed, also keeping high level of safety, instituting nuclear independent state inspection services - Department of Safety, high professionalism of Ministry of Economy and other departments workers, scientists, engineers and nuclear energetics staff. This energy will matter in fuel - energetic economy of Slovak Republic, preserving requirements of ecology, economy and strategic independence of SR.
