The report prepared by Prof. Zbigniew Pawłowski deals with the influence of the construction of the Metropolitan project, by Norman Foster and the IEMS Warszawa, in Piłsudski Square (Warsawa) on the stability of the neighbouring building of the Wielki Theatre erected in 1950-1965 according to a project by Bohdan Pniewski. A detailed soil pressure research conducted by Prof. Pawłowski led to a necessary modification of the original construction project of the Metropolitan building through the use of the construction bracing "vault method" on the 0.00 and -1 storeys.
