Determination of Energy, Usable Power Balances and Operation Stability in Lapunov's Sense of a Mine Ventilation System

The aerodynamic potential of ventilating air treated as a mixture of dry air, water vapour and liquid water droplets is presented. The energy and usable power balances for a deep mine ventilation system, based on this potential, are determined. The energy balance is compared with Barenbrug's one. For this ventilation system a model with lumped parameters is elaborated. The operation stability in Lapunov's sense of the ventilation system, together with the diagrams of the system's own response for a sudden throwing off from of the state of equilibrium, is given.
