Abstrakty
This article is its author's voice in a discussion on the state of the housing environment in Poland. He ascribes an improvement in this situation to aiming to shape various forms of a sustainable housing environment. He postulates the following issues which can improve the quality of the housing environment: promoting the implementation of ecological housing estates as the healthiest, energy-saving, using 100% of renewable energy, economical and optimal from the viewpoint of keeping extensive balance and harmony between nature and architecture, guaranteeing the best possible living conditions for man, keeping balance within a residential complex between developed areas (50% - architecture) and open, biologically active areas (50% - nature), implementing public spaces in residential complexes in order to increase the quality of their inhabitants' lives in all the commonly used spaces, to satisfy social needs, to guarantee places and suitable conditions for interpersonal contacts, etc., keeping balance within a residential complex between the area of the commonly used grounds -"public spaces" - and the summary area of all the storeys in all residential buildings used exclusively by their residents - "private spaces", shaping a high-quality housing environment in the field of health care and a guaranteed possibility of choosing proper forms of residence, looking for balance in relationships between man's diverse needs and the surroundings he lives in by aiming to secure optimal programmatic, functional, spatial, ecological, compositional, esthetical, social and economic solutions, etc.
