Abstrakty
The paper presents simulation results of the influence of parameter a of the Cole-Cole model and relaxation time x on the values of the elements of the series-parallel substitute scheme of paper-oil insulation. RC elements of the substitute model were determined by the application of the lumped approximation of a discrete characteristic operator impedance using'Bode's characteristics in the range from 10 3 Hz to 10 3 Hz. The analysis of the influence of parameters a and x describing the condition of the dielectric under study (e.g. paper-oil insulation) was based on the discussion on depolarization current characteristics obtained through computer simulations. The methodology of determining the substitute scheme of paper-oil insulation, presented in this paper, may be used in diagnostics of power transformers tested by the FDS (Frequency Dielectric Spectroscopy) method, especially in the low frequency domain. Thanks to the application of the computer simulation based on the examination of the current response of the insulation substitute scheme to an individual activation with voltage, it is also possible to obtain depolarization current characteristics used in PDC (Polarization and Depolarization Current) diagnostics.
