Abstrakty
This basic paper shall be presented in poster form with the exposition of Database 2000 in computer form. It has emerged in result of research and development work performed under SPR-1 (later, under the Multi-Year Program) coordinated by the CIOP in the years 1998-2000). The work was performed by 18 authors / co-authors from ITB, ClOP and KMiWA AGH. The main performer was the Acoustic Institute of the ITB (Building Research Institute). It would be too exhaustive to mention all the authors of the Database. The main authors and coordinators of the work are: Jerzy Sadowski, Zbigniew Engel, Danuta Augustyn´ska and Kazimierz Czyżewski. Names of authors and co-authors of information contained in the respective modules of the Database have been included therein. Acoustic properties of the materials, goods and structures designed to protect from noise and vibration contained in the Database have been determined in the Acoustic Laboratory of the Building Research Institute, the Mechanics and Vibroacoustics Department of the AGH (Mining and Metallurgy Academy) and the Central Operational Protection Institute and - in case of some of the goods - by European laboratories. The estimates were made with consideration to the requirements of the European, ISO and PN standard norms. Database 2000 is managed by a specially prepared program - a Windows application. Its function is to present acoustic properties of the materials, goods and spatial elements described in it, with the possibility of file card printing. Database 2000 can be used by offices, institutions, research and design centers, construction and epidemiological monitoring bodies, designers and experts.
