On the base of questionnaires on representative group of 21 tanneries in Poland the assessment of possibilities of cleaner technology implementation has been done. The results indicated on wide possibilities for eco-technology implementation in Polish tanneries, especially in SME’s enterprises group. Different actions can be undertaken both in investment’s and non-investment’s range changes, for example, in the range of the limiting of water usage.
