The project Inter-Countries Research for Manufacturing Advancement (IRMA project) consists in the performance of a research - comparative analysis in the 27 European Union's Member States, aimed at promotion of excellence, efficiency and fairness of the instruction in Higher Education Institutes. The IRMA project focuses on the Manufacturing Engineering field, taken into consideration its high level of innovativeness and fast changes in requirements that students must possess, in order to be adapt and competitive on the labor market. The objectives of the IRMA project is to innovate and to improve educational systems of technical universities at European level, in order to offer to students the competitive environment based on innovative teaching methods, instruments and contents, that allows their intellectual increase and be able to satisfy new necessities and requests, emerged from the labor market.

Projekt Międzypaństwowe badania w zakresie postępu w wytwarzaniu (IRMA) obejmuje 27 krajów członkowskich Unii Europejskiej. Jego celem jest promocja doskonałości, skuteczności i sprawiedliwości w zakresie treści nauczania w instytucjach szkolnictwa wyższego. Projekt IRMA dotyczy inżynierii wytwarzania ze względu na jej wysoki poziom innowacyjności i szybkie zmiany wymagań, z którymi studenci muszą się zapoznać, aby zaadaptować się i móc konkurować na rynku pracy. Projekt IRMA ma umożliwić wprowadzenie innowacji i ulepszeń w systemie edukacyjnym europejskich uniwersytetów technicznych, aby oferowały one studentom konkurencyjne środowisko oparte na innowacyjnych metodach, narzędziach i treściach nauczania, co pozwoli im na rozwój intelektualny i przygotuje do satysfakcjonującej reakcji na potrzeby rynku pracy.
