Abstrakty

In the paper, a framework for policy-based management is proposed. The framework assures the consistent configuration of managed entities, and includes mechanisms for syntax and semantic policy analysis, policy refinement and policy adaptation. The effectiveness of the framework will be validated in the domain of wireless local area network, where the increased number of deployed access points demands the usage of sophisticated and intelligent management systems.
