Nowadays the smart management of buildings is increasingly frequent and more desirable. The article focuses on one part of the intelligent management of buildings, the control of light. Measurement system was created for measuring light intensity and is used to experimentally verify and evaluate efficiency of controlled lighting in the room. This is based on virtual instrumentation and use of USB measuring card NI 6009.
