This paper presents a study on measurement methods of magnetic properties of magnetic steel sheet and strip by means of single sheet tester (SST) at audio frequencies (400Hz-10kHz). In this study, a SST for the high frequency measurement was investigated experimentally. The exciting coil to realize the nearly uniform flux density distribution in the longitudinal direction of a specimen was mainly examined to improve the measurement accuracy. The magnetizing current method is adopted as evaluation of the magnetic field strength. Measurements of the magnetic properties of the specimen cut from same magnetic steel bands are carried out for the Epstein method and the SST method at audio frequency.

Artykuł przedstawia metody pomiaru właściwości magnetycznych blach elektrotechnicznych w postaci paska lub arkusza w zakresie częstotliwości akustycznych (400Hz-10kHz). W artykule analizowano eksperymentalnie pracę testera SST (single sheet/strip tester) przy wyższych częstotliwościach. Opracowano konstrukcje cewki magnesującej umożliwiającej osiąganie w przybliżeniu jednorodnej indukcji w całym obszarze próbki badanej. Do pomiaru natężenia pola magnetycznego wykorzystano prawo Ampera. Porównano wyniki badań tych samych próbek testowanych aparatem Epsteina i testerem SST.
