Abstrakty
The paper deals with the problem of realization of intelligent information objects of centralized and distributed information systems. The emphasis is made on the problem adaptation as a fundamental paradigm of intelligent objects possessing the specific capacity for decision-making and selection of optimal ways in the solution of jobs directly in the course of operation. A correlation is analyzed between the concepts of a "classical" cybernetic system and some modern systems, such as adaptive planning systems and programming agents, and an example is discussed of a CAD system that realizes ideas of the problem adaptation paradigm.
