Abstrakty
Fatigue properties were studied of a new grade of Polish-made polyamide composite Itamid 28 SAM aged in a programmed corrosive environment intended for steel. Deterioration of fatigue properties of Itamid 28 SAM was evaluated using an authors' model of polymer and composite ageing and theoretical indexes of the process. The analysis of results involved the authors' own hypothesis concerning the role of additives acting as inhibitors. Results related to fatigue limit Zgo(L) and Zgo(K) for various exposure times were presented using the normal distribution function phi(u) thus enabling the authors to determine the ageing time for a complete course of investigation and the fatigue limit with respect to ageing time tau.
