Has originality become, as in other arts, the most important/crucial category of the modern architectural esthetics? Is the author's desire to astonish the most important? This is one of many questions brought about in the theses of this year's conference. One should search for the answers in the beauty of increase. The article presents the author's vision of harmonious location of high buildings in the centre of Szczecin.
