Abstrakty
The article presents the results of experimental studies on two large-scale 235 MW[e] circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boilers operated under comparable operating conditions. The obtained results have shown, that the change in the shape of primary air nozzles, thus primary air distribution in the lower part of the combustion chamber has substantially influenced the intensity of the combustion process and the temperature distribution along the CFB structure height.
