An inseparable element of the calvary sanctuaries, which relate in design to Jerusalem of Christ's days, are numerous cubature objects built as small pilgrimage chapels. They are crucial points and elements in landscape design. They were built in various european countries, in various objects with regard to style changes from 15th to 20th century. They present the whole variety of compositional and artistic solutions. Paul Baudarth's manneristic chapels and churches from Kalwaria Zebrzydowska are of special interest in european calvary heritage. (They have been on the World Heritage List since 1999)^16.
