The method of mesuring the thermal load of radiated membrane walls of power boilers using the measuring insert pipe of the outer diameter larger than the waterwall tubes is presented. Temperature is mesured in three locations of the insert cross-section. The presented method also allows to determine the fluid temperature and the heat transfer coefficient on the inner surface of the waterwall tubes.
