The Danish Government Scholarship in 1995 and the contact with The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture makes it possible to be acquainted with Danish achievements in residential architecture, urban reneval, urban planning and urban development which have greatly contributed to the European heritage, especially during the last fifty years. Emphasizing unique historical architectonic and urban values and respecting their role and tradition, especially historic core coplexes, as spatial and social environments for contemporary residents, can help preserve the qualities that the city has today and carry them forward into the next century and develop the city in a way that can give it new qualities. Denmark is at the atart of a new epoch in history, where development in both Eastern and Western Europe has generated completely new opportunities for urbanplanning, cultural and commercial forms of cooperation across the existing national boundaries.
