Abstrakty
Badania dotyczą oceny możliwości wykorzystania żywic do wzmacniania starożytnych lnianych wyrobów tekstylnych pochodzących z Egiptu. Experymentalnie zniszczone próbki lniane zabezpieczano jedenastoma rodzajami żywic. Wzmocnione żywicami próbki były sztucznie postarzane, aby oszacować wpływ czasu na właściwości fizyczne i mechaniczne materiału. W celu oceny zmian zabarwienia stosowano pomiary spektrofotometryczne. Oceniano również zmiany właściwości mechanicznych (odporność na rozciąganie) próbek zabezpieczonych żywicą.
