Abstrakty
Safety of food is one of the most important things for almost every consumer - it's the thing we can't miss or omit. There are institutions and systems that help to protect market from unwanted products and are responsible for foods safety like RASFF (Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed). There are described in article scheme how, system works and analysis on dynamic and structure of notification within the system. Factors, that may influence some numbers (growth, structure etc.) were listed and shortly described. This paper is a kind of attempt to answer the question - is RASFF valuable origin of information or it is just another bureaucratic agenda in the EU. The paper also tries to answer the question about increased number of notification within RASFF - does it mean the system works better, or does it mean the quality of food is becoming worse.
