Abstrakty
A theoretical analysis of stress and large strain state in explosively driven thin-walled ring has been presented. The closed analytic formulae, enabling the elaboration and interpretation of the experimental data, have been derived. The theoretical results have been verified by an experimental example, where expanding motion of a ring was recorded by using the flash X-radiography system. Acceptable coincidence of the theoretical and experimental results has been achieved.
