Abstrakty

In this paper some results of studies on the theory of the electromagnetic-mechanical coupled fields formulation are presented. The main attention has been paid to finding the causes of ambiguities in determination of a pondermotive force (PF), which models the electromagnetic fields (EM) action on the condensed matter. The influence of the choice of the system of dimensional units on the uniqueness of the ponderomotive force (PF) has been considered. The reason of the dimensional degeneration in CGS system of units has been explained. It is eliminated in SI units system. The studied are of a cognitive character, but their results are useful in practice (robotics, intelligent materials).
