This paper deals with the shape design of a high frequency induction coil for an electromagnetic hot plate by the finite element method. In the case of heating by the conventional exciting coils, the heating condition is not uniform. Therefore, we improve the exciting coils shape for uniform heating by means of the numerical analysis and the experiment.
