W Republice Federalnej Niemiec wspólne zadanie "Poprawa struktury agrarnej i ochrona wybrzeża" (w skrócie GAK) pełni rolę ważnego elementu w procesie zachowania i kształtowania obszarów wiejskich. Porządek gruntowy, odnowa wsi i budowa dróg przyczyniają się w znacznym stopniu do rozbudowy infrastruktury wiejskiej oraz poprawy warunków życia i pracy. Od 2004 r. intensywne zabiegi wraz z dawnym Agrarno-Strukturalnym Planowaniem Rozwoju (agrarstrukturelle Entwicklungsplanung - AEP) i zabiegami jego realizacji są ujęte w nowych zasadach wspierania zintegrowanego rozwoju obszarów wiejskich. Artykuł ten ma na celu przedstawienie wspólnego zadania "Poprawy struktury agrarnej i ochrony wybrzeża" jako niemieckiego modelu finansowania zabiegów rozwoju obszarów wiejskich oraz nowych strategicznych celów zintegrowanego rozwoju obszarów wiejskich.

In Germany, the public duty of the "Improvement of the Agrarian Structure and of the Coastal Protection" provides an important instrument to preserve and shape rural regions. Land regulations, village renewal, and road construction contribute decisively to the extension of the rural infrastructure as well as the improvement of the living and working conditions in these areas. Since 2004, the investment measures, the former preplanning of agrarian structure and its chairing have been integrated into the new assisting policy for integrated rural development. This contribution introduces the above mentioned public duty as a German model for financing measures of rural development and presents this new strategic approach of integrated rural development.
