The Polish National Conference on The state, trends and contemporary changes in monitoring the Baltic Sea envir- onment “Baltic 2015” took place at the Institute of Oceanology, Polish Academy of Sciences, on 14—16 October 2015. The event was held under the patronage of the Polish Space Agency and the Marshals of the Provinces of Pomerania and Western Pomerania. Among the personages appointed to the Honorary Conference Committee were the Minister for Science and Higher Education Lena Kolarska-Bobińska and the Minister for the Environment Maciej Grabowski.
