Rewitalizacja postindustrialnych terenów portowych i towarzyszących im linii brzegowych jest najbardziej niezwykłą próbą rozwoju miast. Autorka przytacza krótką historię rozwoju obszarów portowych oraz rozpatruje na przykładzie miasta Malmö cechy udanej rewitalizacji terenów oraz wpływu prowadzonych działań na zmianę wizerunku miasta.

Revitalization of post-industrial port areas and associated shorelines is the most remarkable attempt at urban development. The author presents a short history of the development of port areas and discuss on the example of the Malmö City, the characteristics of successful revitalization, and the impact of this redevelopment on city’s image.
