EN

A classification of fancy flame yarns has been presented, general concepts and terms contained in the norms have been given and an analysis of the literature relating to decorative yarns' classification and criteria for assessment of their properties has been performed. The large variety of fancy flame yarns according to their production process, the features of their decorative effect, the type of raw materials and the number of compounds need creating criteria of division of them and resystematization of the concepts relating to decorative yarns.
