Języki publikacji
Abstrakty
The article presents basic rules of logistic theory that functions and is launched by NATO. The notion of logistics was accepted in accordance with the main stream of NATO armed forces. Logistics is a science that deals with preparing and conducting deployment tasks and keeping and recreating forces combat capabilities. The subject range of logistics, its stages and functions and the place of logistic support in forces actions have been presented. The process to ensure the troops all necessary supply means and infrastructure objects and equipment, i.e. logistic means, until their exploitation is over, includes two stages: the stage of logistic means production, also called production logistics; and the stage of logistic means exploitation, also called consumer’s logistics. NATO standards state that each country has developed its logistic principles and the organisation and practice in this area as a result of conducting international and national policies, military experiences, geographical conditions, various combat experiences and specific economic potentials. Uniform assumptions and principles of logistic activities are accepted in an alliance, however, specific requirements are put forward for conducting actions in the Alliance multinational framework.
