Abstrakty
Porosity measurements for rocks from unconventional reservoirs pose a challenge due to their extremely low permeability, small pore dimensions, and high content of organic matter and clay minerals. The presented work was aimed at adapting the helium porosity measurement methodology for the investigation of microporous rocks. The carried out studies have shown that the measurement conditions are important, which applies both to the measurement pressure and the grain size. The highest porosity values were obtained for measurements performed on samples crushed to grain size < 0.5 mm.
