Abstrakty
This paper presents the results of influence of one-stage and two-stage crushing processes on crushing energy, loads and performance. Experimental studies were carried out on doubletoggle Blake-type crusher. The study was performed on sandstone “Mucharz”. Influence of number of crushing cycles on process parameters was analysed. One-stage crushing was carried out for outlet slot er = 11 mm and feed average size of 80÷100 mm. During two-stage crushing, fraction 80÷100mm was crushing firstly setting an outlet slot on er = 24 mm, then sieved a fine material from the feed which does not require further crushing, and particles from sieves 8; 16; 31;5 mm were directed to second step. Second stage was carried out on er = 11 mm. Performed tests showed that two-stage crushing is profitable.
