Abstrakty
On the basis of performed analysis it was concluded that the ratio of shear fatigue strength coefficient and tension-compression fatigue strength coefficient in most materials varies within the range from 0.5 to 1/(1 + ν). Whereas, the correlation of strain-based fatigue coefficients in torsion and in tension-compression are strongly dependent on the relative slope of plastic strain based fatigue life curves.
