W pracy przedstawiono metodykę oraz wyniki symulacji komputerowej procesu termicznego ekspandowania nasion prosa w przewodzie pneumatycznym. Otrzymane wyniki świadczą o dużym wpływie przyjętych wielkości wejściowych (początkowa temperatura powietrza oraz strumienie masy powietrza i nasion) na przebieg procesu oraz wielkości wyjściowe decydujące o jakości produktu.

The methodology and results of computer simulation of the process of thermal expanding of millet seeds in pneumatic pipe have been presented in this work. The results obtained here are the sign of significant influence of the chosen input quantities, initial temperature of air and mass flow rates of air and seeds, on the way the process takes place and the output quantities which decide upon the product’s quality.
