Abstrakty
The aim of the paper was to show the principles of operation of container freight station and the place and role of services offered in the framework of the international transport chain. CFS is complementary part of container terminals, enables the consolidation of cargo, stripping/stuffing of containers, storage of cargo, handling oversized cargo so facilitates international trade.
