Abstrakty
Markers specific to diploid lines of cultivated potato were identified using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR), primed with arbitrary 10-mers generating RAPDs, or with semi-random primers targeting intron-exon semiconservative sequences of plant genes. One hundred and fifty RAPD primers and twelve semi-random primers were tested. Selected primers were subsequently used for verification of putative somatic hybrids.
